The organization distributed emergency supplies such as food, water, shelter materials, and medical aid to help families cope with the aftermath of the disaster. Additionally, they worked closely with local authorities and other relief agencies to coordinate rescue efforts and provide support to the community as they began to rebuild their lives.
In the aftermath of the earthquake that rocked Jajarkot, Rukum, and surrounding areas, Help Force Nepal once again sprang into action, extending a helping hand to affected communities. Recognizing the urgent need for humanitarian assistance, the organization dispatched teams to the affected areas to assess the damage and deliver critical aid. They provided emergency shelter, medical care, food, and clean water to those left homeless or injured by the disaster. Since 2021, we have been dedicated to improving education for children in rural Nepal, impacting over 3,000 young lives across areas like Mugu, Rukum, and Jajarkot. These regions are home to many vulnerable families, including Dalit communities in Mugu, who face significant challenges.
This year, these families are experiencing an unprecedented crisis. Landslides and roadblocks have prevented parents from traveling to India for work, leaving them without essential income. As a result, the children are struggling to attend school due to a lack of basic educational materials and necessities.
